Radiesse Butt Lift
What is a ‘Radiesse BBL’?
Radiesse BBL, also known as a Radiesse Brazilian Butt Lift, is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses the dermal filler Radiesse to enhance the shape and volume of the buttocks. Unlike a traditional Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), which requires general anesthesia and fat transfer, Radiesse BBL is a minimally invasive procedure that uses injections to achieve similar results.
How Does It Work?
Immediate volume: The Radiesse filler provides immediate fullness and lift from the moment it is injected.
Collagen stimulation: The CaHA microspheres trigger the body's fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin over time.
Structural scaffold: The microspheres act as a scaffold for the new collagen fibers to grow on, creating a more permanent and natural-looking enhancement.
Gradual improvement: The full results develop over several months as the body produces more collagen, with optimal results typically seen 4 to 6 months after the procedure.
What to Expect
-
Meet with your provider to discuss your personal goals and determine whether you are an appropriate candidate and how many vials are recommended.
-
Prior to the procedure photos will be taken for your medical records and additional directions regarding your medication list will be given.
-
Radiesse will be diluted with normal saline and injected into the subcutaneous layers of your buttocks. Lidocaine will be added to the diluted radiesse to keep the client comfortable during the procedure. The procedure itself will take about an hour.
-
Mild discomfort and bruising may be expected following the procedure and strenuous activity should be avoided for about 1-2 weeks or until discomfort subsides.
-
Results are visible immediately and continue to improve over the next few months. The duration of results may vary depending on individual factors, but is typically around 12-18 months.
-
Follow-up treatments can be performed should the client want to achieve more volume 4-6 weeks following the procedure. The main difference between a sculpta BBL and a Radiesse BBL however is there are immediate results that continue to progress over 4-6 months.
Benefits
-
Though most patients experience some bruising and temporary discomfort at the injection site, the procedure itself is safer than undergoing a true surgical BBL requiring fat transfer and general anesthesia. No risk of implant complications.
-
Provides an instant lift and volume, with effects that can last 12-24 months or more.
-
Radiesse works by stimulating your body's natural collagen production, which leads to more sustained and improved skin texture and firmness over time.
-
Patients can often return to normal activities within 24-48 hours, with soreness and swelling typically subsiding quickly.
-
The procedure can be tailored to a patient's specific goals for volume, contouring, and shape.
-
Can help with issues like cellulite, hip dips, and overall skin texture in the treated area.
