Xeomin (IncobotulinumtoxinA)
What is Xeomin?
Xeomin is a neuromodulator injectable similar to Botox and Dysport, used to temporarily relax muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It contains only the active ingredient, botulinum toxin type A, making it a "naked" or "pure" version compared to Botox and Dysport, which have accessory proteins. Xeomin is FDA-approved for treating moderate to severe frown lines.
Indications
Xeomin is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe upper facial lines in adults. This includes:
Glabellar lines: The frown lines between the eyebrows.
Horizontal forehead lines: The creases that run across the forehead.
Lateral canthal lines: The fine lines at the outer corners of the eyes, known as "crow's feet."
